Comprehensive guide of great use to auditors and to those implementng and maintaining a QMS. A companion publication, 'ISO 9001:2015 for Small Enterprises' (by ISO, 2017) is useful for those designing a Quality System for an SME.

Pubished in 2016. A revision of this version of ISO 13485 with the adoption of the High Level Structure (HLS) was mooted last year. Thus far, there is no sign of ISO/TC 210 moving a Working Group to initiate a revision. Working Groups are, however, addressing issues that are likely to be included in a revision including Post Market Surveillance, Medical Device Software and Risk Management in Medical Devices.

Certificates to ISO/TS 16949:2009 became invalid after 14th September 2018 (in sync with the ISO 9001:2015 transition). While ISO 9001 Certification is not required, full compliance with the requirements of ISO 9001 is a prerequisite of IATF 16949 Certification.

Published in July 2018. No radicle changes are being introduced. This revision is applicable to a wide range of MSS, and not just ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 as before.
ISO/IEC 20000@2018, the IT Service Management Standard, was originally developed to reflect best practice guidancecontained within the ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) framework, although it equally supports other IT service management frameworks and approaches including Microsoft Operations Framework and components of ISACA's COBIT framework.
